I went to the London Eye. It was so amazing to see the view of the city from there! I can't believe I'm living in such a beautiful and wonderful city!

Tuesday Oct 9
We went to Blenheim Palace (the birthplace of Winston Churchill) and Oxford today. I wish it hadn't been so cold and rainy, but the gardens at Blenheim were gorgeous!
When I came back Julie cut my hair and gave me red highlights. It's so fun!

Wednesday Oct 10
I went to class and did laundry. Then I saw a matinee performance of "Cabaret." They made this version very "artsy" and added lots of un-needed sexual content and nudity. I was very disappointed with this interpretation of the show.
When we came back we had a Canadian Thanksgiving dinner. We had turkey and lots of other great food! It was so much fun to eat and play games together. That night we had our girl's Bible study.

Thursday Oct 11
Dr. Hopper is in town and he took us to lunch at the Imperial War Museum. We got to tour the museum and the camouflage exhibit. The museum was huge and very well done. I learned a lot, but after a while it became very overwhelming and depressing to hear people's stories and see the pain that war causes.

Friday Oct 12
I went to the British Museum to work on research for my Bible class. That night I went to Spamalot. It was hilarious! The actress who played the Lady of the Lake was amazing! It was such a fun show! We talked to a few of the actors after the show. Lancelot was so nice! I love how they always say "Cheers!" It makes me laugh.
I was hungry so I bought a hot dog from the street vender. He got really close in my face and told me that I had perfect eyes. It was kind of creepy. Courtney, Jenn, and I walked back talking in our British alter-egos. Very fun.
When I got back my roomies and I had girl talk, all cuddled on one bed until 3 am!

Saturday Oct 13
I woke up for our group pancake breakfast! It was so yummy. I love our big group meals. I spent the rest of the day doing lots of homework. I need to get all caught up so that I can leave to visit Michelle in Amsterdam on Wednesday!!

That's what's been going on so far. I'm having lots of fun and getting to experience wonderful things!
